Do I necessarily have to have an apprenticeship qualification for a course in construction management?
It is not essential that you have completed vocational education and training (Vocational Education and Training (VET)), for example with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET), in order to start continuing education, further training in construction management. A Baccalaureate with at least one year of professional experience in construction is also sufficient for most schools to allow you to begin continuing education, further training as a construction manager. However, it is not possible to attend a College of Higher Education with a lower-secondary level qualification, but only with an upper-secondary level qualification and higher qualifications.
