Muss ich für ein Pharmastudium unbedingt ein naturwissenschaftliches Berufsmatur haben?
Do I have to have a vocational baccalaureate in natural sciences to study pharmacy?
You do not necessarily need a scientific Federal Vocational Baccalaureate to be admitted to the Bachelor's degree program in Pharmaceutical Technology; a technical or commercial Federal Vocational Baccalaureate or a diploma from a College of Higher Education is also possible. In addition, you can also start a degree course in pharmaceutical technology without admission if you have a certificate from a technical secondary school (FMS certificate G). If you do not have one of these qualifications, but a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate in a different subject, a Baccalaureate or a certificate of secondary education other than G, you must complete an internship of at least one year in the field of pharmacy before starting your studies. The respective Universities will inform you about the exact conditions for studying Life Science with a specialization in Pharmacy.
