For continuing education, higher education and training to become a Human Resources Specialist with Federal Diploma of Higher Education (HR Specialist), professional experience in the HR or AVIG area is required (AVIG means unemployment insurance and insolvency compensation). For specialization A: Operational Human Resource Management four years, of which two years in HR; for specialization B: Public Personnel Placement and Consulting four years, of which two years in AVIG enforcement practice; for specialization C: Private Personnel Placement and Leasing four years, of which two years in HR practice and at least one year in private personnel placement or leasing.
