Future CHE air traffic controllers must not only pass an aptitude test, but also a multi-stage aptitude procedure.
- Stage 1: Aptitude assessment FEAST 1: Computer-based cognitive performance tests (duration 3 hours)
- Stage 2: FEAST 2 aptitude assessment: computer-based worksample tests, personality test (duration 3 hours)
- Level 3: English test: Communication and comprehension (duration 1 hour)
- Stage 4: Psychological aptitude assessment: individual exercise and interview (duration 2 hours) and selection camp (duration 1.5 days)
- Level 5: Insight into operational activities: Accompanying an ATCO (duration 0.5 days)
- Stage 6: Medical Examination: By a medical aviation institute (duration 1 hour)
