Knowledge of foreign languages is not required for the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) to become a certified export manager / foreign trade manager, but it is essential for your work as such. As you will be working in foreign trade in internationally active companies, a very good knowledge of English and French is essential. Some schools offer you the opportunity to attend language courses to improve your language skills, sometimes free of charge, sometimes for a small fee.
