Muss ich für die Berufsprüfung zur Spezialistin in Bewegungs- und Gesundheitsförderung bereits als Fitnesstrainerin gearbeitet haben?
Do I have to have already worked as a fitness trainer for the Federal Professional Examination in Exercise and Health Promotion?
The Federal Professional Examination (FPE) "Specialist in Exercise and Health Promotion with Federal Diploma of Higher Education" is offered for two specializations: Fitness and health training and body and movement training. Depending on the specialization, different admission requirements apply for the FPE. For the first specialization, for example, in addition to basic training as a specialist in exercise and health promotion with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and having passed all the module examinations of the continuing education, further training, professional experience in the specialization, for example as a fitness trainer, of at least 3,500 hours within the last two to five years before taking the examination is required. Persons with another Federal VET Diploma must be able to demonstrate at least 5,000 hours within the last 2.5 to 5 years before taking the examination. Persons interested in further training in the field of "physical education and movement training" must either have a Federal VET Diploma as a specialist in movement and health promotion, all the required module qualifications and at least 500 hours of course instruction within the last 2 to 5 years before taking the examination, or, in the case of another Federal VET Diploma, all module qualifications and at least 750 hours of course instruction within the last 2.5 to 5 years before taking the examination.
