To be able to work in air traffic and air traffic control as an air traffic controller in the future, you need a sound education at a College of Higher Education. The following requirements apply for admission to the CHE program: Baccalaureate of Vocational Education and Training (Baccalaureate) or Federal VET Diploma (Federal VET Diploma); age between 18 and 30; Swiss citizen for military training; Swiss citizen, citizen of an EU-25 / EFTA state or with settlement permit C; good command of English; mother tongue German or French; logical thinking and ability to multi-task; physical resilience, ability to work in a team, high sense of responsibility and very high reliability.
