Do I have to have professional experience in physiotherapy to study physiotherapy?
You can only gain professional experience as a physiotherapist once you have successfully completed the physiotherapy degree course. Therefore, professional experience in this occupational field is not mandatory to start the course. However, professional experience in general is mandatory. You must complete a two-month nursing internship, which must be completed in one go and with at least 40 working days. If you have a certificate of proficiency or a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate in Healthcare, or a Specialized Baccalaureate in Healthcare, you can skip the nursing internship.
