Company seminars do not necessarily have to take place on the company's own premises, but for cost reasons they are often held in the company's own training or conference room, if one is available. A frequently chosen alternative are conference or meeting hotels, which provide all the necessary infrastructure and also provide participants with drinks and snacks. Another advantage of such an external training location is the physical distance from the workplace and the reduction of disturbances from other employees, telephone calls or similar. Some seminar providers also make their own premises available, which is usually cheaper than a seminar hotel and ensures that the seminar leader has all the necessary infrastructural equipment he or she needs for the company seminar.
