How much time should I expect to spend as an SVEB practical trainer?
Attention: Since the SVEB revision 2023, the previous SVEB certificate for practical trainers is now called "SVEB instructor - individual coaching".
The training to become an SVEB trainer for individual coaching takes about 5 months (minimum 4 months, maximum 3 years). It comprises 90 hours of contact learning time (online or face-to-face). In addition, you should expect 150 hours of practice (in which you apply what you have learned in practice, i.e. teaching or accompanying individual learners) and 165 hours of individual learning time (reading, studying, documenting, etc.).This means a total of 405 hours of study time.
