Mit welchem Zeitaufwand muss ich bei einem CAS in Facility Management rechnen?
How much time should I expect to spend on a CAS in Facility Management?
A CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) at a University of Applied Sciences in Facility Management is a continuing education course that is part of an MAS (Master of Advanced Studies), but can also be attended independently of this. Accordingly, the time required for a CAS is considerably less than that of an MAS and is at least 10 ECTS credits, often 15 ECTS credits. The points reflect the learning effort and comprise approximately 30 working hours per point. With 10 ECTS credits, you therefore have to expect a workload of 300 hours, including attendance events as well as self-study, examinations and a possible final thesis. You often have 10 to 15 attendance days (sometimes more or less) and then deepen this knowledge independently at home. This period usually extends over 5 months to 1.5 years, depending on the chosen course at a University of Applied Sciences in Facility Management.
