Attending an interpreting school is only open to those who have sufficient language skills in their preferred foreign language and excellent native language skills. In most cases, interpreting schools expect a language level of at least C2. In addition, a placement test is mandatory at some schools. For admission to a Universities of Applied Linguistics, an aptitude test is required in addition to university admission.
