The admission requirements for the individual training and further education courses for interior designers vary depending on the course and degree. The certificate course in interior design, which you can find here on our website, trains you to become a certified technician in construction planning HF (formerly specializing in interior design) and is therefore a course at a higher technical college. However, you will need to have completed an apprenticeship in order to attend such a college. Depending on the specialization, a preliminary construction course must be completed before or parallel to the course in order to acquire the necessary basic skills. The "Interior Design" certificate course can be attended by anyone with an interest in interior design and interior architecture, regardless of previous training or schooling.
