Can I only study social work at a University of Applied Sciences?
No, social work cannot be studied exclusively at universities of applied sciences. For example, after completing basic training in care Federal VET Diploma, you can attend a College of Higher Education and train as a social pedagogue CHE or as a social pedagogical workshop leader CHE. Or you can study social work and social policy or social pedagogy and curative education at a university instead of a University of Applied Sciences. Federal Professional Examination in Social Support (FPE) is also offered.
