It is not permitted to use this title after cosmetics training without a federal qualification such as Federal VET Diploma, FPE or AFPE, but it is certainly possible to work as a beautician after training with a certificate in a beauty institute or on a self-employed basis and to continue your training. However, if you do not have a vocational qualification as a beautician, make sure that the cosmetics training at a cosmetics college is a comprehensive course that provides you with all the necessary knowledge and know-how you need for professional work.
