Can I join a company's marketing department straight after a marketing course?

The term "marketing course" does not say much about the content, expansion and objectives of a course, so it is difficult to say whether you will be able to enter the marketing department of a company and take on qualified tasks after successfully completing such a course. If you take part in a marketing course that gives you an overview of the meaning and purpose of marketing in four sessions, you will certainly only be given a hint of the knowledge that you will gain, for example, in a course leading to the MarKom certificate examination, continuing education, Higher Education in Marketing with Federal Diploma of Higher Education (FPE) or as a marketing manager. You should therefore always think very carefully about what you want to achieve with continuing education, further training and in which area you would like to work. It is best to talk to a few HR managers in agencies or companies about your aspirations and find out which marketing courses are highly regarded and which are not.
