Can I only study biotechnology at a University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland?
In Switzerland, biotechnology can only be studied as a Bachelor's degree course at a University of Applied Sciences (UAS). You can train to become a biotechnologist UAS at three Universities of Applied Sciences in the country. At a university, you can only start a Master's degree after a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry or biology, whereas Bachelor's and Master's degree programs are possible at a Federal Institutes of Technology (FIT).
