Italienischkurse: Gibt es auch Italienisch-Sprachreisen für jüngere Kinder?

Italian courses: Are there also Italian language courses for younger children?

Italian language courses are offered for very different target groups, for teenagers, young adults, professionals, senior citizens and also for children. These so-called language camps for children usually take place in Switzerland and are suitable for children from the age of 7. Language acquisition does not play as big a role in the Italian courses as it does for older children, with more than three hours of language lessons per day being rare. Nevertheless, children learn Italian very quickly alongside the Italian courses, as they are surrounded by Italian-speaking supervisors and the composition of the children is often international. For children under the age of 12, the focus of Italian language trips is therefore on leisure and learning the foreign language through play, rather than learning in class. However, if you are interested, please always enquire with some language schools about their offers specifically for children and compare them carefully. This is the only way to find Italian courses that won't overwhelm your child and take the fun out of language learning.
