The types of course vary greatly depending on the individual school and there are Italian courses online or offline. In most cases, however, language schools offer standard courses, intensive courses and private courses, which differ mainly in terms of course size, scope and pace. In addition, Italian courses are usually also offered to prepare you for upcoming examinations, such as the CILS certificate from the University for Foreigners in Siena or the AIL certificate from the Accademia Italiana di Lingua in Florence. These are usually referred to as diploma courses. You can also book Italian courses specifically for business Italian, courses for seniors or language courses in combination with other activities, such as cooking, culture or sport.
