As a rule, it is not necessary for you to have your own PC in order to take part in IT seminars. However, if possible, you should have access to a computer so that you can work on any homework and continue to practise what you have learned in the course at home. If you do not yet have a PC, it often makes sense to wait until the start of the course and talk to the instructor about this topic.
