Is it necessary for me to already have an apprenticeship qualification in order to start training as a nutritional therapist?
It is generally not necessary to have an apprenticeship qualification to train as a nutritional therapist, but you should bear in mind that training as a nutritionist is not federally recognized (with the exception of the Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics) and therefore does not constitute adequate training for an apprenticeship qualification. In individual cases, however, please ask the schools directly whether vocational education and training (VET) is expected for the training.
