Do I need to have attended a course to take the final exam to become an efficiency and energy consultant?
In order to be admitted to the Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education (Achtung: Englisch wie Dipl. HF!), you must first attend and actively participate in a course. During the AFPE Energy and Efficiency Consultant course, you will complete individual modules that are a prerequisite for registering for the final examination. These modules are Technical Fundamentals of Energy Technology; Technical Fundamentals of Construction; Technical Installations; Measures for Energy Efficiency and the Use of Renewable Energies, Energy Economics, and Business Management. You can only register for the Federal Professional Examination in Efficiency and Energy Consulting once you have completed all six of these modules.
