Ist ein Pharmastudium auch neben meinem Beruf möglich?
Is it possible to study pharmacy alongside my job?
For example, you can study for a bachelor's degree in life sciences with a specialization in pharmaceutical technology both full-time and part-time, but it is difficult to work 100% alongside your studies. The head of the Psychological Counseling Center at the University of Zurich, Ulrich Frischknecht, considers a job of around 8 hours per week to be the upper limit for a full-time course. In the case of a part-time pharmaceutical degree course, which lasts around 10 semesters instead of 6 semesters of full-time study, it is therefore not advisable to work more than 50 percent if it can be avoided in any way. However, talk to the university management about your concerns, who should have sufficient experience in this regard.
