Is an MAS in Energy Management a recognized degree?
An MAS (Master of Advanced Studies) in Energy Management is a continuing education master's degree with a federally protected title that is completed at a university. It also enjoys an international reputation and is awarded with ECTS credits. However, it should be noted that an MAS degree is not sufficient for all professional activities, as although it usually requires a Bachelor's degree, it is not comparable to a consecutive Master's degree, i.e. it is not a Master's degree that builds on a Bachelor's degree. However, this is a prerequisite for jobs at Universities, for example, and an MAS is usually not sufficient. However, an MAS in Energy Management is highly regarded in the business world, as it is practice-oriented and provides professionals with further specialized qualifications.
