Ist die Berufswahlschule wie eine normale Schule?
Is the vocational school like a normal school?
There are differences in the programs of a vocational school BWS, depending on which program you choose. The school-based vocational preparation year is suitable for all those who are still unsure which career path they want to take after compulsory schooling, but are aiming for a vocational apprenticeship with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or attending a secondary school. Alternatively, a company-based vocational preparation year is also possible, in which you only attend the BWS two days a week and complete a work placement in a company three days a week to gain an introduction to the profession. Alternatively, it is often possible to choose one day of school and four days of work experience. In a practical vocational preparation year, in addition to school lessons, you also have specialist lessons, both theoretical and practical, to prepare you specifically for an apprenticeship in a precisely defined occupational field.
