Is the training to become a naturopath federally recognized?
Not all naturopathic training courses are also federally recognized, but there are currently two recognized training courses for naturopaths in the field of alternative medicine and complementary medicine. Since 9 September 2015, there has been a federally recognized continuing education, further training to become a complementary therapist with a federal diploma. This continuing education, further training is an Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE), as is the continuing education to become a naturopath with a federal diploma.
