Is training to become a homeopath a degree course?
Training to become a homeopath is not a university degree course (Bachelor's degree with a consecutive Master's degree), but a certificate course that can be attended at schools or at a College of Higher Education (in the Canton of Zug). Accordingly, you will not receive a Bachelor's degree for your training in homeopathy, but a certificate or Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education (Achtung: Engl. and Diploma CHE).
Since 2015, OdA-AM-accredited training courses in homeopathy have led to the OdA AM certificate (Organization of the Working World of Alternative Medicine). This opens the door to the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE), which leads to the Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education (Achtung: Englisch wie Dipl. HF!) as a naturopath specializing in homeopathy.
