The course to become a heating fitter is a vocational education and training (VET) with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET). However, this job title was previously also used for the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE), which now goes by the name of "heating engineer" with a federal diploma.
