French is not only spoken in France, but on all continents worldwide. This language is an official language in a total of 41 countries and has official status and is a recognized minority language in many more. This means that, in principle, you could be taught by a native speaker in a language school in any of these countries, even on such paradisiacal islands as Saint-Martin, Martinique or Réunion. In many countries, however, there are no language schools for French courses that can teach foreigners to the standard we are used to here in our western world. French language courses are therefore usually organized in the following countries:
