This means that people working in landscape architecture implement various projects in private gardens as well as in hotels, restaurants or industrial buildings, in retirement homes, schools, hospitals or playgrounds. These specialists also plan and implement parks and facilities, cemeteries, sports facilities, buildings, zoos, roads and squares. They develop maintenance and protection concepts for historical sites within the field of monument preservation and are also responsible for developing maintenance measures and concepts in private or public gardens and open spaces.
