It is perfectly permissible to take the certificate exam without having attended a preparation course, but it is definitely not recommended. As the exam consists of very different parts, such as business administration, marketing, economics, law, communication, sales and communication, MarKom exam preparation is very extensive and very difficult without appropriate help and guidance. In the courses, you also deal with the exams, their procedure and content, take test exams and can receive targeted support from the teaching staff if you have any questions. It is possible to do without this, but it involves much more effort than attending a preparation course. However, if you don't want to leave the house to study, there are also online preparation courses offered by some schools. Note: The last MarKom certificate examination took place on December 5, 2023. No further examinations will be held in the future. However, interested parties can enquire at the educational institutions about alternative further training opportunities.
