After completing an apprenticeship as a farmer (Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training), you can continue your education in many different ways. Federal Professional Examinations (FPE) are open to you, such as the Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Agriculture, the Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Fruit Growing or the Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Biodynamic Agriculture. In addition, you can also attend an agricultural college or a College of Higher Education, which will train you to become a certified agro-manager CHE or a certified agro-technician CHE. For people who have a university entrance qualification, a Bachelor's degree, for example in food technology or agronomy, is also suitable.
