Ich möchte gerne Hochzeitsplaner werden, habe jedoch eine 100 % Anstellung. Geht das trotzdem?
I would like to become a wedding planner, but I have a 100% job. Is that still possible?
It depends on the sector you work in and your working hours as to whether you can maintain a 100% workload. For example, if you work in an office with fixed working hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., you can plan much better than if you work in the catering industry with constantly changing working hours. As the courses for prospective wedding planners often take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays, you can easily start a wedding planner training course if you have free weekends, otherwise you are advised to get in touch with your supervisor and discuss your plans. He or she will certainly arrange your working hours for this short period on other days on which you will not have classes.
