Ich möchte an einer Fachhochschule Pflege studieren und weiterhin arbeiten, geht das?
I would like to study nursing at a University of Applied Sciences and continue working, is that possible?
It is entirely possible for you to study nursing alongside your job, but usually only with a 50% workload. This means that you will spend around 20 hours a week at work and 20 hours at the University of Applied Sciences attending lectures, tutorials and seminars. However, you will also have to spend around 15 hours a week on self-study, which means that more than 50 percent of your time at work is unthinkable. However, this 50% is mandatory and must be proven in order to be allowed to start a part-time degree course at a University of Applied Sciences for Nursing. Please also note that this activity may only take place in nursing practice, i.e. you cannot work as a bricklayer and study nursing. You can obtain detailed information directly from the individual UASs via our contact form.
