Ich habe keine Ausbildung zum Juristen, würde aber gerne juristische Kenntnisse für meine Arbeit erwerben. Gibt es da irgendwelche Möglichkeiten?
I have not trained as a lawyer, but would like to acquire legal knowledge for my work. Are there any possibilities?
For many people who work outside the field of law, it is nevertheless important or advantageous for their work that they have basic legal knowledge. CAS, Certificate of Advanced Studies courses are ideal for those who do not want to complete a comprehensive Bachelor's degree course, but would rather obtain compact knowledge. A CAS is a short course at Universities that provides you with targeted knowledge on specific topics, including the basics of law, and is designed primarily for people with professional experience in management positions. In addition, participants in a CAS are often expected to have a university degree, but even without one it is possible to be admitted "sur dossier" if you have sufficient professional qualifications. For example, the CAS in Basic Legal Training for Non-Lawyers (UAS) is probably the best option for you, but other, more specific courses are also possible without knowledge of law, such as the CAS in Swiss and International Taxation, on national and international tax law, the CAS in Child and Adult Protection Law or the CAS in Business Law. It is best to contact the University of Applied Sciences and universities directly to find out the target groups for the individual law courses.
