As a rule, no special prior knowledge is expected for participation in basic training in hypnotherapy. However, an empathetic, authentic, honest, emphatic and open personality should be a basic requirement for working as a hypnotherapist, as well as the willingness to work on your own personality. However, ask the individual providers whether they require anything else in particular.
