Nowadays, nurses can train to become a Federal VET Diploma Healthcare Specialist or a Certified Nursing Specialist CHE. It is also possible to study nursing at a University of Applied Sciences (UAS). However, either an upper-secondary level qualification is required to study at a UAS or CHE.
