Does the AFPE for care home managers no longer exist?
The Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) for qualified care home managers was held for the last time in 2012 and was replaced by the AFPE for qualified heads of social and socio-medical institutions, which has since been replaced by the AFPE for qualified heads of social and socio-medical organizations.
People who have an old title are entitled to use the new title. They do not have to take another examination for this.
