Of course, there are also numerous federally recognized training courses and continuing education, further training in social work. In addition to the basic training to become a Federal VET Diploma of Higher Education (FaBe) care specialist, these also include seven Federal Professional Examinations, including those to become a Federal Diploma of Higher Education social care assistant, a Federal Diploma of Higher Education social insurance specialist, a Federal Diploma of Higher Education specialist in the care of people with disabilities and a Federal Diploma of Higher Education team leader in social and socio-medical institutions. Also federally recognized in the field of social work are the continuing education, further training courses with Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) with federal diplomas as a counsellor in the psychosocial field, as a social insurance expert, as an institution manager in the social and socio-medical field and as a supervisor/coach with a federal diploma.
