Some, albeit few, language schools in Spain offer so-called family language trips that cater to the needs of all family members and support them individually. In most cases, you will stay in a private apartment and attend a language course for adults at your language level at the same time as your children. If you also have younger children who cannot or should not yet take part in a Spanish course, it is often possible to leave them with a professional babysitter during the language course. This gives you the time and peace of mind to improve your Spanish skills while your children, both big and small, are well looked after. In the afternoons during your language study trip in Spain, you can take part in leisure activities organized by the school, such as excursions and sightseeing tours, or explore the city and surrounding area on your own. A wide range of activities are offered for young people during this time, so that they can also make contact with their peers from different countries outside of the Spanish course and put their acquired knowledge into practice. The weekend belongs to the family, when there are no lessons and often no organized programme on language trips to Spain.
