Language stays abroad offer a wide variety of courses from which you can choose the one that suits you best. As a rule, there are standard courses, which comprise around 20 lessons per week, intensive courses with 30 lessons or more and, in many places, "light courses", which comprise around 10 lessons per week. A lesson can last 45 minutes in one Spanish school and 60 minutes in another, so in the first case you have 1.5 hours of Spanish lessons per day and the rest of the day at your leisure. If you are looking for a vacation where you can learn a little Spanish at the same time, this could indeed be the ideal solution for you. Of course, this option also gives you the right to take part in all the leisure programs offered by the language school and to make contact with other language students outside of the language courses.
