For whom is continuing education, further training at an agricultural school useful?
Courses offered at an agricultural college can be of interest to very different target groups. As a rule, these courses are aimed at people with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training in agriculture and the agricultural sector, e.g. as a farmer, gardener, technologist or similar qualification, who wish to continue their education in a targeted manner. These can be comprehensive courses leading to a federal diploma, such as the Dipl. Agro-Kaufmann / Dipl. Agro-Kauffrau CHE, or short seminars and specialist training courses on very different topics, such as "Agriculture and tourism - sleeping on straw", field fruit cultivation, viticulture course, conversion to organic farming, alpine herding course, cattle tapping, etc. The target groups for these courses can vary greatly, from newcomers to the sector to experienced farmers. Please ask the agricultural school directly about the requirements for participation.
