Who is the HF degree program in Production Engineering suitable for?
The HF degree program in production engineering to become a dipl. Technician HF Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Production Engineering (new: Mechanical Engineering Technician HF) is aimed at interested parties with basic training and professional experience as an automation technician, automotive mechatronics technician, machine mechanic, plant and apparatus engineer, designer, mould maker, plastics technologist, car mechanic, polymechanic, physics laboratory technician, toolmaker, technical model maker, production mechanic or machine draughtsman.
Note: Since fall 2022, the HF technician courses (formerly "Techniker HF Fachrichtung") have been given a separate framework curriculum and a new title for each specialization. For example, the course "Technician HF Mechanical Engineering" is now called "Mechanical Engineering Technician HF". In addition, the specializations have been abolished.
