For whom is a certificate course to become a store manager suitable?
A course to become a store manager is suitable for all those who want to prepare for a future job in store management in the retail trade or are already working in this position and would like to deepen their knowledge. The requirements for this course are not the same at all schools; often sufficient professional experience in retail or trade is sufficient to be allowed to participate. In other places, one of the following educational qualifications is required to train as a store manager:
- Retail trade specialist with Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
- Salesperson with Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
- Completion of a technical or commercial apprenticeship
- Equivalent qualification
