Für wen eignen sich Sprachreisen nach Spanien?
Who are language trips to Spain suitable for?
First of all, a distinction is made between youth or school language trips, adult language trips and business language trips, but there are also increasingly special offers for intermediate groups, such as for young adults or students, for families, teachers or in the form of internships abroad, volunteering and the like. The choice of trips abroad combined with language courses is immense and therefore offers attractive options for almost all age groups. Most language schools in Spain offer adult language courses aimed at people aged 18 and over, with no upper age limit. In some cases, those interested in learning a language can also take part in these courses from the age of 16, although this should be checked on a case-by-case basis. Normally, under-18s take part in so-called school or youth language trips, for which there are age-appropriate course combinations. As a rule, Spanish courses are offered for 12 to 17 year olds, with some schools also offering courses for 14 to 18 year olds. Youth language courses usually start with a minimum age of 12, although some providers do not shy away from offering language courses at language schools in Spain for children as young as 7. For adult language courses, the average age is around 25, which has prevented many older people from attending a language course in Spain. For this reason, programs have been developed that are specifically tailored to the 30+, 50+ or senior target group, meaning that all participants are at roughly the same age level. As a result, language trips to Spain are not a question of age, as they offer attractive language programs for both young and old. However, language courses are not only divided according to age, but also according to previous language level and objectives, so that beginners as well as advanced learners can attend a suitable Spanish course.
