Die Auswahl an Studienmöglichkeiten in Recht ist so gross, welches Studium wähle ich am besten nach meinem Schulabschluss?

There is so much choice when it comes to studying law, what is the best course to choose after leaving school?

Anyone wishing to study law after graduating from high school can only apply for a Bachelor's degree in Switzerland. This can either be a Bachelor's degree in law at a university or a specialized course such as business law with a Bachelor's degree at a University of Applied Sciences. This basic education is required in order to apply for a Master's degree and possibly a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies), DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) or MAS (Master of Advanced Studies), which in most cases require a university degree and professional experience. If you want to work as a lawyer in the future, a Bachelor's degree followed by a Master's degree is therefore essential. CAS, DAS or MAS are further education courses that are suitable for lawyers as well as other university graduates who want to acquire legal expertise but do not work as legal academics.
