Brauche ich wirklich eine Ausbildung, um als Journalist zu arbeiten?

Do I really need training to work as a journalist?

Working as a journalist requires much more than just being able to write grammatically correct and interesting for the reader. You need basic journalistic knowledge which, in addition to your personal writing style, also includes knowledge of research, forms of presentation (such as how to conduct an interview correctly), editing and portraying, as well as general knowledge and legal guidelines. In principle, you do not need any specific training to work as an editor or journalist in radio, television, print media or online media, but good writing skills are usually required for employment, which you can acquire most easily, effectively and professionally in a course, a training program, a degree course or a postgraduate course. In this way, you will acquire routine writing skills and have a better basis for an interesting job in journalism.
