Do I absolutely need a degree to become an interior designer?
To work as an interior designer, you do not necessarily need a degree. Basic training (apprenticeship) as a draughtsperson specializing in interior design is also a very good way to gain a foothold in this industry. Further training as a qualified technician in construction planning (formerly specializing in interior design) is also an excellent opportunity to continue your education after completing an apprenticeship, which does not necessarily have to be as a draughtsman / draughtswoman EFZ, and to reorient yourself.
