Do I absolutely need a MarKom certificate for continuing education, further training in marketing?
The MarKom certificate examination is only required up to and including the 2018 examination year as admission to the Federal Professional Examination for continuing education, further training in marketing and related areas (copywriter, PR specialist, communication planner, sales specialist). From the 2019 examination year, this admission point will no longer apply. However, the MarKom certificate will continue to be offered to facilitate entry into the marketing and communications industry.
Note: The last MarKom certificate examination took place on 5.12.2023. There will be no more exams in the future. If you are interested in alternative training courses, the schools will be happy to provide information.
