A degree from a university of applied sciences in nursing is desirable for continuing education, further training in oncology nursing in the form of a CAS, DAS or MAS, but is not a mandatory requirement. There are also often sur dossier admissions where the prospective students have a higher education qualification but no university or university of applied sciences degree.
